Actually, it is not nanny government — it is bully government that pushes us around for the most frivolous reasons. The global warming thing is — among other things — to control people. Look at the cars the government wants you to drive. The Chevy Volt is an electric Trabant. Or Yugo. Or pre-war Volkswagen. Bully government leaders love to force the populace to squeeze into these little cars while they ride around in super-sized Escalades.  And President Obama doesn’t drive in just one. There are dozens of Escalades, less gaudy of course, that accompany the presidential chariot.  Presidents get away with this — for national security reasons. I am not saying we need no government.
